NSI is a publicly listed real estate fund that invests primarily in offices and retail. Besides its portfolio in the Netherlands, NSI is striving to build up an international portfolio in Switzerland.

At this moment, the total portfolio consisted of 96 residential and 147 commercial properties with an average size of €8.0 million. At 31 March 2011, the real estate portfolio represented a value of €1.3 billion and was spread across the categories shown below (in %):
